Nitrogen / air high pressure nucleation

It is a simple modification to your metering line that will add benefits in terms of foam quality.
There will be no limit of air percentage due to the high-pressure pump cavitation. The modification kit is made by a ‘’booster section’’ with integrated control and by a flow meter that will be installed close to the final mixing head. The modification will take just few hours.
High pressure thermoregulation

To have the best foaming result, FIRST offer a whole kit for the high pressure thermoregulation for each chemical material.
The system in composed to some high pressure heat exchangers and a group of proportional valves that regulate the passage of cold water according to the desired temperature. It is a standalone closed-loop system that can be easily integrated also on existing lines, with very limited integration costs.
The kit is available both for the main components (polyol and isocyanate) and also for pentane and additives.
High pressure blending of additives “twister”

For an improvement of the existing mixing of PU foam, it is available a solution that brings the mixing of additives inside the final mixing head. This will reduce the production start wastes due to the not perfect foam blending.
The system will include no.3 static mixers: one for the nitrogen mixing, one for the catalysts mixing and one for the pentane mixing. All of them are placed inside an aluminum block connected to the mixing head.
Mineral wool section / glue machine

FIRST can integrate the rock wool insulation cutting / insertion system on existing systems.
This section is composed of a unit that takes care of the lamellas cutting and a second unit for the trapezium used for the roof panels. Everything is completely automated starting from the loading of the wool mattresses up to the insertion in the line of cut strips/trapezoids.
The peculiarity of this cutting system is the minimization of the zero-scrap cutting blades, with scraps limited only to the joint lateral millers.
The system can be supplied “keys in hand” with glue dosing and dispensing units and with aspiration and air filtering system.
The recent glues have been loaded with inorganic fillers, with high viscosity and very high abrasive power.

When you have old controls, most of the components have already been discontinued or are really hard to find them. If the machine would ever need fixing, it would be a nightmare and it can cause a long downtime. This is when retrofitting is the solution. Retrofitting consists in the upgrade of the old components with new components. Potentially improving the performance of the machine.
Consequently, a more efficient machine increases the longevity of the rest of the components.
